Our Founders
Jonathan and Lisa joined forces in 2011, re-branded Jonathan's existing DJ company, and Blue Diamond Events was born. Together they've grown their company to be one of Mid-Missouri's Top Choices for high end wedding services, offering Planning, Design, Coordination, DJ/MC, Lighting + Atmosphere, Photography, Videography, Photo + 360 Video Booth Rentals, Custom Decor Installations.
Jonathan is an extensively trained Emcee that has been working all types of events for over 14 years now. He's DJed and MCed all types of events, and is completely bilingual in both English and Spanish. He's a master of his craft, with more than 200,000 songs in his library, and truly knows how to read a crowd to keep them dancing all night long.
Lisa heads the creative arm of the business, working behind the scenes to maintain the company's web presence, blog, social media, advertising, marketing, and planning out all of her clients' wedding needs. Her talents and detail oriented nature allow her to execute flawless weddings for each couples' unique taste. But that's not all that she does! You might catch her working a photo booth or even DJing if you're lucky! She truly is a powerhouse in the wedding and events industry, and somehow she's still one the most calm and collected planner you will ever meet. She will juggle all of the things, while simultaneously keeping everyone happy and everything moving smoothly.
