I love everything about this couple and their dreamy boho wedding!
Kathy & Brandon were high school sweethearts, and their love story is too cute:
We first met Kathy & Brandon at their friends' wedding back in September of 2018. If you haven't read our post about their EPIC Cambodian and Vietnamese Wedding Reception click HERE.
If I could say one thing about these two ... it would be that they are seriously such a sweet couple.
Throughout the entire Entertainment Planning Process they were so fun and easy to work with. They booked our DJ + Photo Booth Bundle and added our Standard Ceremony Audio Package. We also came out to run the sound for their rehearsal ceremony so that everyone would know exactly what to do the next day.
Glenn Acres Farm is one of a handful of modern, rustic barn venues located here in Columbia, MO.
Our couple was lucky enough to be one of the last weddings the venue will be hosting at the farm, since their decision to stop hosting them in the facility after the end of 2019.
Which is really too bad considering the venue and the entire property is absolutely gorgeous. We had the opportunity to work out there a number of times and will be sad to see it taken off our list of venue options for couples.
Kathy & Brandon chose the perfect combination of vintage and rustic decor items to match their personalities. Kathy is an elementary school teacher, and they are mom and dad to their sweet doggies, so their wedding decor naturally included vintage books, brass candlesticks, and doggie themed signage and cake topper.
Since their wedding colors were lavender and sage, they of course had to include the most perfect velvet Victorian Purple Sofa from Pretty Little Things vintage rentals.
Kathy and Brandon tied the knot outdoors in front of the venue's arbor that sits overlooking a breathe-taking lake.
Since their wedding was in July, the couple provided simple white umbrellas for guests to shade themselves from the late-afternoon sun. I think they really added a nice touch to the overall decor and feel of the ceremony.
As I mentioned, Kathy & Brandon booked our DJ + Diamond Booth Bundle - the perfect entertainment starter combo for any wedding!
We set up our Illuminated Elite DJ Booth in the corner by the dance floor, and set up our Diamond Photo Booth in the room adjacent to the reception hall where they had additional seating.
The newlywed's first dance was “Love” by Lana Del Rey transitioning into “Skywalker” by Miguel, followed by “Stand by me” by Skylar Grey for the Father/Daughter Dance, and then “What a Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong for the Mother/Son Dance.
It was an all our dance party as guests got down to a huge variety of music that included "Unforgettable" by French Montana, "Hero" by Enrique Iglesias, "Closer" by the Chainsmokers, and "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" by Cindi Lauper!
Guests also had a blast at the photo booth!
Here's just a small sample of their Blue Diamond Events Photo Booth Gallery:
And last but definitely NOT least, here's some of my favorite photos from their special day by their amazing photographer Morgan Lee Photography:
