Kayla and Houston celebrated their beautiful wedding at the Firestone Baars Chapel in Columbia, Missouri on July 8, 2017. The bridesmaids wore baby blue floor length dresses. The bride wore a satin strapless gown.
A photograph of the couple was placed on the welcome table at the entrance of the reception. Guests signed their names around the edges of the photograph as a keepsake for the couple.
The reception had classic white and blush pink decor. The flowers consisted of pink, blue, and white arrangements. The venue, Kimball Ballroom, was lit with pink chandelier lanterns on the ceiling which added an extra glow to their soft pink and white theme.
The ballroom had high ceilings: a perfect Cinderella setting for the first dance. The stunning 4 tiered cake from Hyvee sat in the center of the room. The bridal party sat at tables on the stage behind a silver Mr. and Mrs. sign.
Bridesmaids and groomsmen entered to “Crazy in Love” by Beyonce and JAY-Z (played by Blue Diamond Events Pro Host - Bruce Enrietto) followed by the bride and groom as they made their grand entrance into their reception hall as newlyweds.
The best man started off the toasts, telling humorous stories of his friendship with the groom over the years.
The maid of honor followed up with a loving toast to the bride. Through tears, she delivered a heartfelt speech that held everyone’s attention. Afterwards the sister of the bride stood to say a few words. A round of applause was given as they finished the toasts and moved on to dinner and dancing.
This fun, heartfelt wedding reception was executed perfectly. The happy couple couldn’t stop smiling at each other as they were surrounded by loved ones. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your special day!
